NED Watch: TechElite Programming Competition

NED University is holding an ‘All Karachi Programming Competition & Project Exhibition‘ today (18th August 2007).The event website lists three competition categories and prizes of around Rs 25,000 for the top position. Microsoft, Intel and Wavetech are amongst the long list of sponsors of the events. Karachi Metroblog also has a piece on the event today.
This is great! It’s getting a lot of coverage and generating good PR for NED. NED should sponsor more of these events to help raise its profile. Thanks for blogging about it.

The event was a success,for the first time an event on such a scale has been conducted in ned.I will upload the pics soon.

no doubt nothing of the sort ever been witnessed in 4 yrs of our stay at NED CIS and the reason behind is that the contribution from FE to BE was indeed very much positive in this event.
this event has changed a lot in CIS, every one has now friends in every year. Things have changed positively.
